JC Project MuSE “Inter-school Obstacle Course Racing Challenge” 

The “Inter-school Obstacle Course Racing Challenge” is the flagship annual sporting event under JC Project MuSE. The event was held on 12 June 2026 at Kai Tak Sports Park, staged for the first time at Hong Kong’s largest integrated sports complex, attracting over 900 primary students and parents from 16 Project schools. The atmosphere was vibrant as participants embraced the challenge, explored different sports, learnt about Olympic values, and created lasting memories together.

Participating students raced to complete the specially designed obstacle course at the fastest speed, overcoming a series of challenges while embracing the core Olympic Values: Excellence, Friendship, and Respect. A lineup of star athletes attended to show their support. Together with teachers and Sports Legacy coaches, they joined students in an exhibition race, delivering an exciting performance that further lifted the spirit of the event. The athlete lineup included TO Wing Tung and TO Wing Man (Beach Volleyball), LAM Hin Chung (Fencing), LEE Chun Ho (Karate), CHEUNG Hoi Lam (Rowing), YIU Kam Shing (Rugby), LEE Ho Ching (Table Tennis), KONG Lai Lee (Taekwondo), and ZHANG Ling (Tennis).

With the 20th Asian Games taking place this September, a special “Asian Games Cheering Zone” was set up at the event to encourage participants to show their support for athletes. Students and parents wrote heartfelt messages on colourful cheering spheres, sending their best wishes and energy to Team Hong Kong, China. In addition, students and parents were given the opportunity to tour and experience a variety of sports facilities at Kai Tak Sports Park, including beach volleyball, fencing, karate, sport climbing and tenpin bowling.

The event is initiated and funded by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust and organised by SF&OC Sports Legacy.
